As this program has come to a close, I have reflected on all that I learned; the functional medicine process; and, how I came to find this course. I wholeheartedly believe there are no accidents nor coincidences. It truly was a divinely created pathway following my discovery of and completion of nurse coaching in 2020. When I became a nurse coach, I was still feeling like there was something I was missing. I didn't get the nutritional component of that program and I was wanting to dig deeper in lifestyle and nutrition. I enrolled in a functional nutrition course and within a few days I found this INCA program, Functional Medicine for Nurses. I knew that I wanted something specifically focused for nurses. Until this course, I hadn't found anything that teaches functional medicine with the scope of practice for nurses. It truly focuses the healing art of getting to the root cause. I am so glad I found this course as it is the missing piece and completes my puzzle! I have so much gratitude to Brigitte, IFM and INCA and Brigitte's desire to be a visionary for Functional Medicine for Nurses. She created a simple and comprehensive program for nurses to learn the foundational principles of functional medicine. I look forward to her Functional Medicine podcast and will be following what we all will bring to the table for this healthcare revolution we all seem to be in together. She did a superb job of organizing the materials in module format and covering all the important information in an easy-to-understand way for nurses. I appreciate all of the resources that were provided. I will continue to learn from the resources, the rabbit holes as well as the social media connections and the IFM benefits we have. Thank you very much.
